Pokhara planning notes
Lakeside or Sarangkot? Start with the setting.
Your base changes the rhythm of a Pokhara stay. Start with what you want to do between leaving your room and coming back.

Start with your evenings
If browsing restaurants and returning to the hotel without a planned transfer matters most, look first at central Lakeside. Check the precise street rather than relying on the broad Pokhara label: hotels at Sedi and the northern lake edge have a different location from those around Gaurighat and Center Point.
Choose the hills deliberately
Sarangkot is a distinct choice, not simply a room upgrade. It suits a stay built around the hill setting and mountain outlook. Arrange arrival and onward transport with the property. A hillside address and a summit-area address are not interchangeable.
Keep room views separate from hotel views
A panoramic image can show a terrace, pool or shared lounge. Check the description of the room you will actually book. Ask whether a balcony is private and what it faces. Mountain visibility varies with cloud and weather; a view category cannot guarantee clear peaks.
Compare the whole stay
Read room category, breakfast, transfers, cancellation deadline and total price together. A short stay can be affected more by the arrival arrangements than by a small difference in the headline room rate. Use our comparison tool for the setting, then check the rate terms on each provider.
